Rorschach doesn't know what this place is, or why he's here; last he knew he was in New York, and New York didn't have any castles. He would know.

[Rorschach is not a stranger to detention; given his classmates, and his temper even as a child, fights were not exactly unusual occurrences and the teachers didn't often bother to make a distinction between those who were truly guilty an those who were only attempting to defend themselves.

...of course, his tendency to beat the larger kids black and blue when provoked tended not to work in his favor, no matter how much larger than he most of them were.

Even so, it seems a little odd for a fully grown man to be in detention. Then again, getting into fights with students and teachers alike needs to be punished somehow, and in retrospect he probably hadn't actually needed to break that finger to make his point. No matter how succinctly it had done the job.

Whatever the reason, deserved or not, the fact remains that there is a vigilante sitting at a desk that doesn't seem as small for him as maybe you might think it should, every inch of him oozing a good solid brood as he slouches over the tabletop.]

because he certainly seems to be alive, and he certainly remembers getting that latter. how? well, some things are beyond even his level of comprehension, but that doesn't mean that he's stopped wondering. because technically, he didn't exist any more. he'd been erased. he was a lowly piece of data waiting to be removed, waiting to be permanently deleted - but something changed.

he's not just a piece of data now. he's... fully formed, he's... himself. well, he's not exactly himself, he's- he's king candy.

and he has no idea how or why or even if it's real, but everything feels so crisp and sharp but it also feels so off, so wrong, so unlike anything else he's ever known. because he can't see the code behind the environment, he can't feel the way the world moves and changes with each forced movement of code looping in the way its been programmed too - and maybe that's to do with the way he's regenerated here, maybe it's something to do with how his damaged code's been picked up and forced back together, but it's... different. it's different and he doesn't quite understand why.

The dark and the fear only make Merida more antsy as the entire school seems to hold its breath waiting for the worst to be over. But this princess always had problems with following rules.

She’s snuck out of her room and is currently trying to make a dash for the stadium, one of the higher grounds on campus, while still being open air. She needed out, badly.

Though at first she was only subjected to the usual influences, after a period of time, she saw a figure in the distance, completely shadowed by the dark fog. Soon after, a voice called to her.

Whether it was him or merely a trick of the creatures lurking in the darkness, she couldn't tell. However, Jasmine knew that even if the odds were slim, that the boy somehow escaped his execution and made it to the school, that she needed to check.
